What is BASIS ?

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) is a Software & IT Enabled Service industry of Bangladesh.

In 2012, BASIS introduce it's training program and set up BASIS Institute of Technology & Management (BITM). BITM was established with a vision to be a world-class IT institute in Bangladesh. Which purpose developing of the IT Sector in Bangladesh by creating a good number of qualified IT professionals and quality certified IT companies.

BITM offers some training, workshop and courses in purpose of help people develop their skills, so that they can grow in career and getting chance of new jobs and make better decision in business. Those are paid course. You can check those course in their website.  

BITM Free Course and Tanning Program

BITM also offers some free courses through Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP). There are 11 courses for New Entrants Program, and 4 courses for Up Skilling Program. To get this course you have to go through a register process, after short-listing through Written Test/ Interview. Then the final selection. They will mail you details about everything.

Eligibility for Free Course/Training

• New Entrants Program you need a Diploma /Bachelor degree
• Up Skilling Program require minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Industry.

Trainee Selection Process

Step 1: Online Registration

In registration process you have to fill up your personal details educational qualification and all other related information.

Step 2: Short-listing through Written Test/ Interview

Registered Interested applicants will call for to sit for admission test. The format of the admission test could be the face to face interview, written test or both. Applicants selected through the admission test will be notified for enrollment through SMS and email.

Step 3: Final Enrollment

Final selected applicants need to submit necessary documents including (i) Photocopy of NID (ii) Document relating to academic qualification (iii) Photo(Passport size)

For verification purpose, their information will be uploaded on the SEIP Training Management System (TMS) by the training institutes. All the trainee selection and enrollment processes will be documented and preserved for monitoring as well as other administrative and financial purpose.

How to register free course program 

Go to BITM website in SEIP section, Click REGISTER FOR DHAKA DEVISION if you stay in Dhaka, or REGISTER FOR CHITTAGONG DEVISION if you stay in Chittagong. 

Select your preferable course you want to register, fill up all details carefully and authentic. 

After fill up all the details click Save. You will get a ID and email after registration successfully.

Note: Make sure you provide a valid personal email address.

If you selected they will contact you through mail with every details. After successfully completed the tanning you will get your certificate and allowance.
